StreamGrid v3.0.0 is a major update — an all-new look, a smarter layout engine, better grid management, and automatic updates.

Highlights

  • A completely refreshed design. StreamGrid has a brand-new visual language — a translucent, "command-center" interface with a violet→fuchsia accent and a single electric-cyan "live" cue. New logo and app icon, a glassy app bar and status bar, and restyled stream tiles with cleaner live indicators and on-hover controls (mute, fit, chat, stop, edit, close).
  • Window-filling auto-arrange. A rebuilt layout engine picks the best row/column split for your window and stretches every feed edge-to-edge — no empty bands, no wasted space. Auto-arrange is now a single click with a quick confirm.
  • Grid management overhaul. Reliable renaming, fixed duplication, and grid import straight from the + menu or the redesigned All grids browser (with search). Switch grids instantly with the quick switcher (Ctrl/Cmd+K) or number keys (Ctrl/Cmd+1–9).
  • Automatic updates. StreamGrid now checks for new versions on launch and installs them for you — so this is the last version you'll need to update by hand.
  • Live status bar. At-a-glance FFmpeg readiness, the active grid, and feed count.

Fixes & improvements

  • Renaming, duplicating, deleting, and importing grids now stay in sync across the tab strip, quick switcher, and All grids view.
  • Layouts measure the real window so feeds fit accurately at any size.
  • General polish across dialogs and stream controls.

Everything from 2.0.0 carries over: YouTube, Twitch, HLS, MPEG-DASH, RTSP (via FFmpeg), local files, per-stream and global mute, YouTube/Twitch chat, M3U import, and the REST API.

Notes

  • RTSP streams require FFmpeg installed on your system.
