I have followed all of your steps:
- For each servo:
- Set Baud Rate to 4 Mbps
- Set Return Delay Time to 0 microseconds
- Set USB Port Latency Timer to 1 ms
Power management settings on the computer are set to performance mode, and I've selected what seems like the best port/cable combination for my motherboard.
I'm getting average latency of 3 ms, so a control frequency of ~330 Hz.
Did you manage to get 500 Hz, as mentioned in your documentation? If so, I'd be grateful if you would tell me if there are any more steps required, or whether there was something unusual about your setup that enabled you to achieve this.
