So one of the weakest ranks in both vanilla and Pokermon is 7. Little to do with any joker, and if it does that joker probably also cares about other ranks (Mankey, Oddish, Lycanroc...). Basically it's only Anorith that cares about 7s, making the rank not very attractive to play towards, so I wanted to change that.
Binacle is a pair of hands that evolves into a group of 7 hands, so it felt like a great candidate for a 7 helper. What it does is simple: retrigger played and held 7s based on how many heads the Pokémon has. So Binacle retriggers the first 2 7s in played hand and held, and Barbaracle the first 7 7s played and held. It's as simple as that, but it makes the rank now pretty interesting to play towards, especially considering Binacle is a common. Now, it may be a bit too close to sudowoodo, but Barbaracle is limited to 7 cards when Sudowoodo is unlimited with giga hand size (Mega-Ampharos and Salamence we see you) so there's that.
I also have a Mega-Barbaracle concept (+6 card selection limit and +3 hand size to be able to hold and select 11 cards, but debuff all cards but 7s) but honestly it's a bit too silly and probably needs some sort of rework.
