🚀 Quick Start

Docker Compose (recommended)

git clone https://github.com/TheDachlatte007/collectabase.git
cd collectabase
docker-compose up -d --build

Open http://localhost:8000 — done.

Portainer Stack

Create a new Stack and paste the contents of docker-compose.yml, or point to this repository.

Persistent Data

🔑 Configuration

All API keys are managed through the Settings page — no .env file editing required.

Note: PriceCharting scraping works without an API token. The token is only needed for the official API fallback.

Optional: Admin API Key

Set ADMIN_API_KEY as an environment variable or Docker secret to protect write operations when exposing your instance beyond your LAN. Without it, admin actions are allowed only from local/private IPs.

🛠️ Local Development

Backend

Frontend

The Vite dev server proxies API requests to the backend on port 8000.

🐳 Docker Health Check

Collectabase includes a built-in health endpoint at /api/health:

The Docker image runs a health check every 30 seconds. Portainer and Docker Desktop will show the container health status automatically.
