About Me

I am a researcher at the intersection of optimization, machine learning, and decision-making under uncertainty, with a focus on real-world operational problems.

My academic journey began with an interest in how data-driven methods and optimization can be applied to complex, real-world systems. During my undergraduate studies at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), I worked on projects spanning hospital staff scheduling, production planning, and image analysis, which introduced me to the power of intelligent systems in practical settings.

I am currently an MSc candidate in Industrial Engineering (Systems Modeling and Data Analysis) at Amirkabir University of Technology, where my research centers on the dynamic control of road networks and autonomous vehicle systems. My work sits at the crossroads of sequential decision-making, stochastic optimization, and transportation, where systems must act intelligently under uncertainty and without knowledge of future states. Beyond my thesis, my coursework in Stochastic Processes and Game Theory has broadened my research perspective to encompass both single-agent and multi-agent optimization problems, with applications in congestion management, traffic flow, and large-scale network design.

My broader research interests include:

  • Data-driven optimization for transportation and logistics
  • Sequential and adaptive decision-making under uncertainty
  • Robust and stochastic optimization
  • Operations research applied to urban and network systems

I am passionate about bridging rigorous academic research with the kind of infrastructure and policy challenges that matter at scale, particularly in transportation systems where efficiency, safety, and sustainability are deeply intertwined.
