Modeling Engineer at Tesla — MLLMs & physics-based ML.

Physics-based modeling meets machine learning on next-generation battery cells: theory, RL for automation, and data-driven optimization at scale-up. PhD in Mechanical Engineering (University of Virginia), BS (USTC). Outside work I build end-to-end — MLLMs, agentic systems, RL training infra, voice agents, and AI for hardware.

  • BenchCAD — industry-standard benchmark for programmatic CAD (17k+ execution-verified CadQuery programs). Used by Anthropic in the official Claude Fable 5 & Claude Mythos 5 System Card (§8.16.4).

  • archscope — publication-quality hierarchical figures of model architectures.
  • CAD_opd — on-policy self-distillation for image → CadQuery on Qwen-VL.
