+Digital Earth Australia has released the latest Water Observations Statistics (Nov–Mar) seasonal summaries for 2025–26.  
+
+Derived from Landsat satellite data, these summaries capture where surface water was observed during the November–March period, providing a consistent national view of seasonal water patterns. 
+
+The updated summaries enable users to better understand seasonal variability in rivers, wetlands and floodplains. By highlighting areas of persistent water and short-term change, the dataset supports analysis of flooding, drought and environmental response to climate variability. 
+
+These seasonal products complement DEA’s long-term water datasets, offering additional context for research, planning and decision-making.
