Backend engineer from Italy, mostly self taught, coding from whatever place has WiFi and a decent sunset. I actually hold a bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance and Financial Markets, where I first played around with Python… but when I started the master degree in Statistics I realized investment banks were not really my natural habitat with all those ties and short hair-cuts.
So I did “what any clueless kid does: ditch college and run off to New York tonight” well, didn't go actually no NYC but I really took off traveling.
Did I say I travel a lot? Maybe too much? It’s basically my one true obsession, the engine behind everything I do.
After a few nomadic years, with the Canary Islands as my home base, coming back to Italy just in time for a little pandemic, and I ended up doing consultancy. Not really my vibe. So I jumped into the startup world to build real products with real people, still carrying my laptop in a backpack ready to board the next plane… did I mention traveling already?
