I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Iowa State University, with the goal of advancing Heterogeneous Federated Learning and Continual Learning for large language models. I am working at the Software Analytics and Pervasive Parallelism (SwAPP) Lab in the HPC for AI — Efficient and Scalable Learning and Inferences wing. Harnessing lightweight Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architectures and sparse parameter adaptation to enhance representation learning, mitigate catastrophic forgetting, and ensure robust, privacy-preserving collaboration in scalable distributed systems.
