Features
Connect to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick at the same time. Messages from every connected channel merge into a single overlay. No login or API key is needed — Ghost Chat connects anonymously.
Rumble support is in development.
Inline emote rendering across platforms:
- Twitch — native Twitch emotes plus BTTV, FFZ, and 7TV (global and channel sets).
- YouTube — custom channel emoji.
- Kick — Kick emotes.
- Twitch — subscriber, moderator, and other channel badges.
- YouTube — member, moderator, and owner badges.
Badges can be hidden per platform in Settings.
YouTube Super Chats and membership events are rendered with their own styling so paid highlights and new members stand out.
Show inline notifications for subscriptions, raids, announcements, and other channel events — no login required. Toggle each category in Twitch settings.
Toggle a transparent, click-through overlay so your mouse passes through to the game or app behind it. Trigger it from the chat view, a global hotkey, or the system tray. See Getting Started.
Bind a system-wide hotkey to toggle vanish mode without focusing the window. Configure it in General settings.
Ghost Chat lives in the system tray with quick actions: Center on Screen, Toggle Vanish, Open Config Folder, and Quit.
Three built-in themes (Default, Compact, Bubble) plus full control over typography, message styling, usernames, badges, emotes, and avatars in your own themes. Export and import themes as files. See Themes.
- Fade messages with a configurable timeout, per platform.
- Hide bots and commands (Twitch).
- User blacklist per platform to mute specific users.
The interface ships in English and German. More languages are welcome — see the translations guide.
When a new release is available, Ghost Chat shows an update link in the title bar.
