Angular2 + Firebase + Material Design - Starter Application

Angular 2 Plus Firebase

Demo

A Starter application using Angular2 Material with Firebase Integration for the back end.

This project is intended to be a starting point for an Angular2/Material Design/Firebase project. Also, as a reference point for anyone who is looking to learn Angular2 and needs an easy start project to get them going.

Quick Start

Make sure you have Node version >= 5.0 and NPM >= 3

Clone/Download the repo

clone our repo

--depth 1 removes all but one .git commit history

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/Dynki/dynk1.git

change directory to our repo

cd dynk1

install angular-cli

npm install -g @angular/cli

install the repo with npm

npm install

start the server

ng serve

This project was generated with angular-cli version 1.0.0-beta.26.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive/pipe/service/class/module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the -prod flag for a production build.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Karma.

Running end-to-end tests

Run ng e2e to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor. Before running the tests make sure you are serving the app via ng serve.

Deploying to GitHub Pages

Run ng github-pages:deploy to deploy to GitHub Pages.
