Textatro is a fast-paced typing game inspired by roguelike mechanics, specifically from the game Balatro. Players must type words quickly and accurately to meet quotas, earn points, and progress through increasingly difficult rounds. Between rounds, you can purchase upgrades to improve your chances of survival and maximize your score.

Features

• Typing Gameplay – Type displayed words as fast and accurately as possible. Mistakes reduce your flow, while perfect streaks build combos for extra rewards.
• Round System – Each round increases the challenge with stricter quotas and limited time.
• Upgrade Shop – Spend earned money on upgrades:
  • Quota Reducer: Lowers the required quota.
  • Time Extender: Increases round timer.
  • Word Bonus: Increases gold per word typed.
  • Word Shortener: Reduces the length of words you must type.
• Difficulty Modes – Cycle between Easy, Medium, and Hard.
• Results Tracking – At the end of each round, see your score, money earned, time left, and largest combo achieved.
• Animations & Feedback – Visual effects like shaking text, combo highlights, and smooth hover effects enhance the experience.

How to Play

1. Select Difficulty

   • Click the Difficulty button to toggle between Easy, Medium, and Hard.

2. Start the Game

   • Press Start! to begin the round.

3. Type Words

   • Enter the word shown in the input box.
   • Each correct word increases your score, earns money, and contributes to your quota.
   • Perfect typing streaks trigger combos for bonus points and gold.

4. Meet the Quota

   • Fill the required quota before the timer runs out to advance.

5. Visit the Shop

   • After each round, type commands like quota, time, bonus, or shorten to purchase upgrades.
   • Type continue to begin the next round.

6. Win Condition

   • Beat all 9 rounds by maintaining accuracy, speed, and strategy.
   • Running out of time ends the game
