yt-dlp is a tool that downloads video and audio files from YouTube. You can download it from here
- Follow the instructions from the yt-dlp page
- Make sure, an environment path is set to point to the yt-dlp binary file
- Open Yass Reloaded and open the preferences and navigate to Locations (Extras → Preferences → Library → Locations)
- Enter the path to the yt-dlp.exe in the yt-dlp text field
- In the preferences, you can configure yt-dlp (Wizard → yt-dlp) and set with which quality yt-dlp should attempt to download audio and video
- Download Audio
- Format: Select tha audio format (.opus is recommended, as this is the format YouTube uses natively)
- Bitrate: The higher, the better the quality, but also the bigger the filesize
- Download Video
- Container/Codec: Select the container/codec combination. (.mp4 - Best available codec should be suitable for most cases)
- Max. Resolution: Select the resolution of the video. yt-dlp will attempt to download the video with matching resolution, but never higher than the given resolution
- Download Audio
Aubio is an audio processing tool which helps Yass Reloaded to determine the BPM auf audio in the Song Creation Wizard. You can download it from here
- Follow the instructions from the download page
- Open Yass Reloaded and open the preferences and navigate to Locations (Extras → Preferences → Library → Locations)
- Enter the path to the bin folder of your aubio installation
