SDE-II at Vyapar. Electron + SQLite at scale. Backend & performance-leaning, frontend-rooted.
I build Vyapar's offline-first desktop app (Electron, React, TypeScript, SQLite) serving small and medium businesses across India. Recent work, mostly in performance and infrastructure:
- Multi-layer LRU caching cutting item lookup latency from 800ms to 200ms
- FTS5 full-text search replacing LIKE scans for a 60x speedup on 200K+ item catalogues
- Platform dependency redesign across a 15+ package monorepo (codesign / Authenticode signature checks, isolated pnpm trees), eliminating recurring build failures
- SmartConnect (in-app WhatsApp integration, 40K+ daily merchants) redesigned with factory-pattern abstraction and an IPC event queue for ordered async messaging
Before Vyapar: WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance work at Toddle Ed-tech (contributed to a 22% revenue increase from US state schools), and a labour-tracking dashboard at Amazon Fresh/Go targeting 600+ store locations.
