This pull request updates the accordion component's styles to provide more consistent appearance and theme support across different design systems. The changes focus on improving border, background, radius, and icon color handling, as well as refining theme variables for better customization.

Accordion Component Styling Updates:

  • Standardized the accordion item border, border-radius, and background color across default, card, and link variants in accordion.scss, ensuring consistent appearance and improved overflow handling. [1] [2] [3]
  • Updated chevron icon color handling to use theme variables, and set specific colors for link variants. [1] [2]

Theme Variable Enhancements:

  • Added new variables for accordion-item-border-radius and accordion-item-chevron-color in all theme files, enabling per-theme customization of border radius and chevron icon color. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
  • Updated Connect theme: adjusted background, border color, border radius, title font weight, chevron color, and font size for medium items for a more refined look. [1] [2]

These changes collectively improve the visual consistency and flexibility of the accordion component across all supported themes.
