SkyTracker

This is a project I would like to begin working on in the near future, it will be a self-hosting solution for people with ADSB equipment or SDRs they would like to use to track aircraft.

PLANNED FEATURES IN FUTURE UPDATES

  • Self hosted and aesthetically pleasing website

  • 24/7 Aircraft tracking and logging

  • Timelapses and replays based off of the flightplans of logged aircraft

  • A logbook showing which aircraft fly over your area, which are most common and the most common route!

    NOTICES

    • This is not a guranteed project and I may or may not continue developing it.
    • This project will take a lot of time and workload for me to build.
    • I am very happy to take on board a select few people to help with development
    • If you want to contribute open a pull request and see where it goes from there!

PLANNED HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS SDR:

  • HackRF
  • RTLSDR
  • FlightAware SDRs
  • More to come.

HOSTING HARDWARE:

  • ARM based devices (Raspberry Pi)

  • Most x86_64 PCs
