Introduction: The project is a web-based food ordering application designed to enhance the user experience in selecting and ordering food. The platform offers a seamless interface for browsing menus, adding items to the cart, and proceeding with orders. Built using React, the application emphasizes a responsive design, intuitive navigation, and interactive components. Key features include the ability to explore various food categories, download a dedicated mobile app for a better experience, and manage orders efficiently. The application also integrates a cart system, allowing users to review their selections before finalizing their orders.
Project Features: 1.User Experience: The application aims to provide a seamless user experience with an easy-to-navigate interface and various functionalities, such as viewing the menu, placing orders, and managing the cart. 2.Responsive Design: The application is designed to be responsive, ensuring a good user experience across different devices. 3.Cart Management: Users can add, remove, and view items in their cart, with a detailed breakdown of costs. 4.Authentication: There is a login/signup feature allowing users to create accounts or log in to existing ones. 5.Order Placement: Users can enter delivery information and proceed to payment to place their orders.
Components 1.App-Download: This component provides users with options to download the Milgo app from the App Store or Google Play Store for a better experience. 2.Explore-Menu: This component allows users to explore different categories of the menu. It also features a scrollable menu list with images and names of menu items. 3.Food-Display: This component displays a grid of food items based on the selected category. It fetches the food list from the context and renders individual food items. 4.Footer: This component contains the footer information of the website, including company details, contact information, and social media links. 5.Header: This component features the header section of the website with a background image, a catchy tagline, and a button to view the menu. 6.LoginPopup: This component handles user login and signup. It allows users to switch between login and signup forms. 7.Navbar: This component includes the navigation bar with links to different sections of the website, a search icon, a cart icon, and a sign-in button. 8.Food-Item: This component represents individual food items. It shows the food image, name, price, description, and a button to add/remove the item from the cart.
Pages 1.Home: This page includes several components, such as the Header, Explore-Menu, Food-Display, and App-Download, to provide a comprehensive overview of the available food items and app download options. 2.Cart: This page shows the items that the user has added to the cart, along with detailed information about each item and the total cost. 3.Place-Order: This page is where users enter their delivery information and review their cart totals before placing an order.
Context .Store-Context: This context provides global state management for the application. It includes the list of food items, cart items, and functions to add/remove items from the cart and calculate the total cart amount.
