Installation & Setup

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• npm or yarn
• MongoDB instance (local or cloud)
• Firebase account for authentication
• Valid API keys for OpenAI and other integrated services

Steps

1. Clone the Repository

   git clone https://github.com/your-repo/lifepulse-ai.git
   cd lifepulse-ai

2. Installation & Setup

Install Dependencies

For Frontend:

  cd frontend
  npm install

For Backend:

cd ../backend
npm install

3. Configure Environment Variables Create a .env file in the root directory and add:

# Frontend
REACT_APP_OPENAI_API_KEY=your_openai_api_key
REACT_APP_FIREBASE_CONFIG=your_firebase_config

# Backend
MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_uri
PORT=5000

4. Run the Application

Start the backend server:

cd backend
npm run dev

Start the frontend server:

cd ../frontend
npm start

Access the Application Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000.
