@AnMoreau AnMoreau released this 07 Nov 07:10

With this 4.0 milestone, PyMoosh has reached maturity—our simulation framework is now fully operational for both students and researchers. PyMoosh now incorporates non-locality (spatial dispersion) for advanced plasmonic modeling. Performance has been enhanced and usability improved through new practical examples and notebooks.

Closer and closer to 4.

@AnMoreau AnMoreau released this 08 Apr 09:19

We have fixed a few bugs, essentially related with angular and spectrum (units, and vectors for dispersive materials defined in a complex way).

Get always closer to 4.0

Many new things: anisotropy, spatial dispersion (nonlocality). Everything should be documented and tested.

Not clean or complete enough to be declared 4.0 but almost... please use, test and enjoy.

@AnMoreau AnMoreau released this 13 Sep 17:26

PyMoosh is a Python-based simulation library designed to provide a comprehensive set of numerical tools allowing to compute essentially all optical characteristics of multilayered structures, ranging from reflectance and transmittance to guided modes and photovoltaic efficiency. Optimization tools are also included. PyMoosh is designed not just for research purposes, but also for use-cases in education. To this end, we have invested significant effort in ensuring user-friendliness and simplicity of the interface.

This release corresponds to version 3.1, it is considered fully ready and tested. In future versions, only new features will be added.
