Ilwis-Objects is the next generation of the software that drives the Ilwis GIS . No longer (only) a desktop GIS, but now morphing into a framework that can be deployed in multiple scenarios. From being a server-side processing engine to driving a python extension, from desktop client to basis for mobile (GIS) apps. The roles are being extended. This wiki documents that process and its progress.
