Question about a TypeScript port

Hi. I’m considering an unofficial TypeScript port of PEEK’s deterministic core so it can run inside Cloudflare Workers without a Python/Pyodide dependency.

Before starting, I wanted to check:

1. Are you already planning, working on, or aware of a JS/TS port?
2. Is there any conformance/spec guidance beyond the current tests that a port should preserve?

If I do this, I’ll keep the repo clearly unofficial and preserve the Apache-2.0 license/NOTICE attribution.

hey @galsapir, thanks for checking first and for being thoughtful about attribution.

I'm not currently working on an official JS/TS port and I'm not aware of one, so happy for you to do an unofficial port. For conformance, the Python implementation and tests are the best source of truth for now. There isn't a separate formal spec yet beyond the paper, README, and tests. If you start the port, feel free to link it here. Shared conformance fixtures could be useful later.

Please keep it clearly marked as unofficial and preserve the Apache-2.0 license / NOTICE attribution with credit to the original PEEK project and paper.
