Feature Request - Auto Tune for setting filter chain parameters

As a user of TG I would like to be able to have TG be able to automatically optimise a filter chain for my current microphone and watch combination so that I can get the best possible readings I can.

At the moment setting filters is undocumented and requires some arcane ninja skills. This feature would enable the existing filter chain functionality to be used by most users who I expect like me just use the default filter.

You can just use the default filter. That's going to be just as good, if not better, than what any other timegrapher does.

I have had some watches where I cannot get a good lock and where I have resorted to trying to play with the filters. This has occasionally worked but more often than not I am guessing and going backwards. As for being as good as other timegraphers, I would expect that commercial timegraphers are preconfigured for the mic they are shipped with. Users of this program, particularly new users who are looking at it before buying a dedicated mic, may have mics that would really benefit from some sort of fit.

Your description of fixing audio issues is great - but it requires skills and knowledge to understand what is going on at quite a deep level and it requires that you have python and a bunch of dependancies installed in addition. An auto-tune feature would improve the user experience for many.
