After reviewing the thread for the virtual filesystem issues, just wondering if you would consider changing the license for the project to a copyleft license such as GPL, that restricts closed source commercial use.

That seems reasonable. However, first of all, I can't even imagine how this can be commercially used (there definitely will be a lot of legal issues). Also this project has a lot of working releases under MIT, license change would not affect them.
