This is a relatively rarely used feature of motortune, so disposition is to document it here and move on for the time being
Essentially "set_position_except" was something I was trying to get away with not using so I tried being "clever" and just adding the cycler object to set that motor, but it actually only set the first point...
So anyway, probably needs some attention, whether that is from adding a message to the RE or what, I don't fully know... but also scanning with use_tune_points but motor static is a relatively rare thing to want, the only real reason I can think of to use it is to hold a discrete motor (or crystal motor to the omitted position) to a position other than the instrument would have it go for some power study.
