Retrieve resource files from server

I am planning to use this package in my project. But the fetching translations is a big requirement.

I found that latest version does not support this.

So can you please confirm if this feature is in your roadmap or till when it will be available to use?

Hello!

it's not being actively developed because everyone's needs are different, especially when retrieving data remotely and syncing it locally.

This package offers the base interfaces for you to interact with flutter and the i18next translation mechanism.

You could, for example, implement the parts that would retrieve the translations from your server in the following ways:

• before the app starts (e.g. during the main function call)
• during an initialization phase of your application (e.g. a custom splash screen)
• lazy fetch from server, then reload the delegates/locales when ready
• custom implementation of the LocalizationDataSource interface, that you can pass to the I18NextLocalizationDelegate
  obs: I never tried this with a long lived future.

and so on.

Personally, I usually go for the initialization phase, because at that moment I can show something to the user, while also making the final checks to make sure everything is ready (auth, local cache syncs, db, etc).
