Barcode Scanning Product to Cart

Hello, how do I enable the barcode scanning settings so once SKU is scanned, the product is automatically loaded to the side cart, similar to version 0.4x?

Also, is it possible for the cursor to stay active in the field after barcode is scanned and entered?

Open the POS settings and use the Barcode Settings tab to make sure your barcodes are correctly detected.

When scanning barcodes you don’t have to focus the search box. Just scan and if a product is found, it will be added to the cart.

Note: barcode scanning is not currently available for variations. I am working on an update for to add this.

Thank you. It only works with numeric barcodes, do you plan to support Code 128 barcodes with characters as well?

Can you go to the Barcode Settings and do a test scan with a Code 128 barcode so I can see the detected barcode.

The barcode is TBCM012, the keypress event is ShiftTShiftBShiftCShiftM012. Would love to have support for alphabetical barcodes. Thank you!

The important thing is the Detected Barcode not the Keypress Event. I have just done a test and alphabetical barcodes work.

The Detected Barcode field didn't output anything after scanning the uppercase barcodes.

It would be good to have an option to enable/disable case-sensitive barcodes. It would help us as all our barcodes are capitalized. Thanks!

I have tested it with uppercase barcodes. You may need to tweak the barcode settings to get the barcode to detect correctly. Give me a screenshot of the barcode settings after a scan if you want any further support.
