Mic mutes itself with no intervention

I have been facing an issue that occures very frequent. Every few minutes, the mic toggles to mute automatically.
If i am switching to different windows of browsers, apps, folders, the mic just goes on mute. It could also don't relate to the clicks or switching the apps.
I have the Auto-Mute unchecked.

Hi, that's really weird behavior and I believe that silence! is not the reason to it, but it just shows the state of mic that was modified by something else.

Some questions that could help:

1. How many mics do you have on your PC
2. Send screenshot of hotkeys section of the app

Hello there... Thank you for replying. Please note the screenshots below as per your request, while keeping the following points in-mind: - Laptop is Acer Predator (which keyboard's F keys end at F12). - The mic toggle button is set at F15. - The mouse is Logitech MX Master 3. - The Logitech app sets the mouse Wheel-lock button to F15 for the Gaming Apps, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and apps requiring mic control. - The Logitech app sets the mouse Wheel-lock button for Chrome to Speaker Mute (Native Windows function as well as a selectable Function from the Logitech app) - Sometimes when I switch from one Chrome window to another (by left-clicking the other chrome window), it toggles off the mic , (So I assume no interference from the Logitech app point of view, anyway the key at the app is set to the Windows native speaker mute function (native to the app as well), and doesn't briefly even switches to F15 (mic mute). A quick IMPORTANT update....
I was able to trigger this effect, out of chrome-to-chrome clicking I was telling you about:

• In a steam game, I wanted to take a screenshot by "Windows + Shift + S", it gives me the + Snippit marker to highlight and drag the desired area.
  THE MOMENT I CLICK THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON, IT TOGGLES THE MIC OFF.

• To add to it, I quit the game and tried this in chrome, it also toggled the mic off

• Also, I TURNED THE MOUSE OFF, did the Windows + Shift + S and I tried the laptop's touchpad button for clicking, it also toggle the mic off

• Again.... I tried the Windows + Shift + S, with the laptops touchpad, this time a tap with no click (touch tap). It also toggled the mic off.

I see that your recorded hotkey does not have a recorded button, that's really weird.

I myself use Logitech mouse one of the buttons of which is assigned to F21 and in the app it correctly shows "F21"

So re-recording your key in "keyboard" section proo-obably should fix the issue.

I didn't even know that hotkey can have no button assigned to it lol

Well... that's also puzzled me. What is the default registered which is an invisible one ! When I clicked the pencil, it doesn't show me any default key !

and by the way.... I remember I had some issue like a double entry for F15 (EXTERNAL KEYBOARD which i turned off during troubleshooting). it was toggleing the mic on and off at the same time. it returns the status again by a double entry. (WHICH I CAN CONFIRM I JUST SIMULATED IT JUST NOW on the external keyboard by pressing F15).

I Also checked on my PowerToys, i don't have anything assinged to F15 !!!
