mobiscroll resets css value -webkit-tap-highlight:rba(0,0,0,0)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. tab on a mobiscroll input text and select 
2. select next field

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the text input field is highlighted altough -webkit-tap-highlight:rba(0,0,0,0) 
is set. On a next focus (after first 'wrong' focus) the field is not 
highlighted. It seems that mobiscroll resets the css, but doesn't return to 
normal until one more focus.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
mobiscroll v2.6.2
ios theme
Dutch language module

HTC one X (android 4.1.1) 
Appcelerator Titanium (webviews)

Please provide any additional information below.
allready tried setting (no results):
-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0,0,0,0)       !important;
        -webkit-touch-callout: none      !important;
          -webkit-user-select: none      !important;
           -khtml-user-select: none      !important;
             -moz-user-select: moz-none  !important;
              -ms-user-select: none      !important;
                  user-select: none      !important;
