split prover for offline voting

greetings,

we're looking to integrate voting into zafu. (tldr penumbra prax wallet fork with zcash 6-12s offscreen proving).

seems pretty straigh forward, but... zafu pairs with zigner, an air-gapped signer on an offline android phone. hot side holds viewing keys, cold side holds spending keys, er(extension) does the FVK-only work (position, witness vs nc_root, value/randomness, VAN, delegation) and cold would only do the RedPallas sig over the binding hash.

also is there any example implementation/docs out there yet?
