Hello, currently I've been having a problem with my fingerprint reader on fedora only, where mostly all troubleshooting steps don't help, and on other distros the python-validity package works just ok on other distros, on fedora either the packages had trouble installing, resetting data on the fingerprint reader and doing the troubleshooting from the mainpage, doesn't do much, because it gets locked on the factory-reset.py with an error 0401, which probably means that its locked from doing anything to the fingerprint reader, could be a problem with SElinux, but more likely the package is outdated.
I use a thinkpad x270 with validity sensors 138a:0097, every step in tuto made no progress, just fprintd-enrolling says dbus no device. Also systemctl says something about scheduled restart job, restart counter at 13.
Until the issue is resolved, I can't use the fingerprint reader package on distros other than really slow-paced. Mint worked, Arch worked, dunno why fedora doesn't though.
