Layout files are placed in ./source/layouts/*

Default layouts

  • layout.hbs is used as the base layout-file for pages.
  • sublayout.hbs can be used as a template for subpages (2-col layout)

Using Layouts on pages

Content Blocks

A layout can have multiple content-blocks acting as placeholders for ... in pages.

Patterns

Other use-cases can be adding a nolayout.hbs with removed header/footer partials & different meta-tags.
