Obsolete Methods error

After setting up project in Android Studio When I try and login or Signup into the app it always shows the following error:

FirebaseError: Projects created at console.firebase.google.com must use the new Firebase Authentication SDKs available from firebase.google.com/docs/auth/

Do I need to update each and every method attached with the logging and signing up in ?

Firebase updated SDK from version 2 to 3. You could follow their upgrade guide. It took me one day just to understand how the new auth work and migrate the code. I eventually make the whole app run.

Hope Udacity will update this repo.

please tell me how to run the given app, because it gives me same error, so how can i update all methods and files to newer version

@mbk820 I spent hours to integrate the code on Github to Firebase SDK 3. Sorry I forgot the steps but you can follow the guide I mentioned above.

Also you can read their Firebase in a Weekend: Android. It covers more Firebase features. Also the code is based on Firebase SDK 3.

@winstonma Cant u post the corrected code, i spent alot of time on it. But getting nada. Im not expert :( so if u can then post whole corrected project on github nd give me link. Thanksss alot otherwise too i will look into guide u mentioned. Thanks
