I'm always frustrated when the silence skipping feature cuts too aggressively and ends up skipping parts of speech or swallowing the beginning/end of words.
Describe the solution you'd like
I’d like the silence skip feature to use a small buffer before and after detected silence, for example around 2 seconds, and then re-check whether speech continues before skipping further. This would make the feature less aggressive and help avoid cutting off spoken audio.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I haven’t tried any alternatives, since there don’t seem to be any settings available to adjust this behavior.
Additional context
This would make the feature feel smoother and more reliable, especially in Twitch VODs where pauses and speech often happen very close together.
