Attachment Object should be extandable

Right now it's only possible to upload attachments and not add any metadata. We would like to have the possibility to add as well the document type (ID, Driverlicence, ...) and some other fields like valid from - to, ...

It would be good, if we could than as well structure the page. That we could have sections, for example expired documents in a second "expired".

Can't you add custom fields on the attachment object though?
