Feature Request: Rename Playback Streams & Display Source Information

Hi,

First of all, thank you for creating such a great TUI tool it's incredibly useful.

I’d like to suggest a feature that would improve usability:

The ability to rename playback streams. This would make it much easier to identify and manage multiple active outputs at a glance.

Additionally, it would be very helpful if Wiremix could display more contextual information about each playback source.
For example, if the audio is coming from a browser, showing the tab title or media name would make it significantly easier to distinguish between streams.

The ability to rename playback streams. This would make it much easier to identify and manage multiple active outputs at a glance.

For an existing way to achieve this, you can use {object.id} in the name template to show a unique identifier with each stream. If you only want it to show for certain applications, you can use a name override.

Additionally, it would be very helpful if Wiremix could display more contextual information about each playback source.
For example, if the audio is coming from a browser, showing the tab title or media name would make it significantly easier to distinguish between streams.

Wiremix already does this, but the browser has to publish the information in the first place. Here's Brave and Firefox playing the same song from Bandcamp - Brave just sets the media.name property to "Playback", but Firefox sets it to the web page title. It might be worth creating an issue against Brave to request this feature.
