Faircamp has implemented a feature I've requested (which I'd also like to request from wavtopia):
https://codeberg.org/simonrepp/faircamp/issues/90#issuecomment-2276366
Basically
search(results)/listings of tracks, generates an .rss and .m3u file[link] at the bottom of the webpage
This enables a decentralized 'more like this spotify'-kinda feature:
- follow (new) artists songs by just adding an rss or m3u feed to your (mobile) music/podcast player
- follow genre by just adding an rss or m3u feed to your (mobile) music/podcast player
I'd love to see this on wavtopia too, it would really allow a more modern listening experience compared to modarchive.com
