CPM crashes on game startup with Angelica mod (Minecraft 1.7.10)

Problem:
The game crashes immediately on startup (before reaching the main menu). Removing either CPM or Angelica fixes the crash.

Mods:

CPM: 1.7v0.6.26a-forge

Angelica: 2.1.37

Minecraft: 1.7.10

Forge: 10.13.4.1614

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Forge 1.7.10

2. Install both CPM and Angelica

3. Launch the game

4. Crash

Encountered this same problem just now when running space tech integrated which includes angelica. Judging by the logs (both in my and RegularUserDev's case) this is a problem with a recent version of JOML? I've had the launcher redownload it just to make sure, and it doesn't seem to be corruption on my end, but the file is still unreadable

Probably worth noting that installing different versions of CPM or gtnh-lib (the mod that directly requires the JOML version that is failing) does not seem to change the result. I probably lack the knowledge of how exactly this dependency is chosen
