Welcome, and thanks for being here!

This discussion area is for everyone who is using, testing, exploring, or contributing to AI-Git-Bot — a self-hostable gateway between Git platforms and AI providers. The project is meant to be both bot and agent: it can review pull requests, answer follow-up questions in PR discussions, improve issue descriptions as a writer agent, and even work on assigned issues as a coding agent.
Use this space for anything that does not fit neatly into a bug report or feature request. For example, discussions are a good place to talk about:

• setup and deployment questions,
• GitHub, Gitea, GitLab, or Bitbucket integrations,
• Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible APIs, Ollama, llama.cpp, or local LLM setups,
• code review workflows,
• issue-agent and writer-agent workflows,
• prompt design and system prompt ideas,
• MCP servers and tool configuration,
• real-world use cases,
• feedback, rough ideas, or “would this be possible?” questions.

Issues are still the best place for reproducible bugs and concrete implementation tasks, but Discussions are the right place for open conversation, experiments, questions, and shared experience.

Whether you are running AI-Git-Bot in a team, trying it locally, evaluating it for self-hosted AI workflows, or just curious about the project direction, you are very welcome to join in.
