Question about hooks

Hi,

One thing is unclear for me from documentation: incremental updates using hooks:

• which hooks? Are those coding agent hooks? Or git hooks?
• what if I already have git hook? And it is not a bash/shell script but something else?
• Is this a pre-commit hook? What about switching branches?

Overall this looks great, but before I use it in my project I need to know a bit more :)
