Claude Code v2.1.173 → v2.1.175: enforceAvailableModels locks down enterprise model policies #387

Description

@claude-yolo

Why you should care

Enterprise admins get a new enforceAvailableModels managed setting — once enabled, the availableModels allowlist constrains both Default model selection AND prevents users/projects from widening a managed list. Closes a real policy enforcement gap for orgs running strict model governance.

What's in v2.1.174–v2.1.175

🔒 New (v2.1.175)

  • enforceAvailableModels: managed setting that hardens the availableModels allowlist

🐛 Fixed (v2.1.174)

  • wheelScrollAccelerationEnabled setting for fullscreen scroll
  • /model picker now shows Default-resolved model family (Opus/Sonnet) correctly per plan
  • Bedrock GovCloud (us-gov-*) was deriving wrong inference profile prefix → 400 errors ✅
  • Background sessions were inheriting another session's ANTHROPIC_* env vars (session leak)
  • 1-2s exit pause after interrupted shell commands (macOS/Linux) gone
  • Workflow agent() subagents now get proper per-agent attribution headers
  • [VSCode] Usage attribution breakdown added to Account & usage dialog
