Not working on Linux Mint

Hi there,
is ESPConnect (https://thelastoutpostworkshop.github.io/microcontroller_devkit/espconnect/) compatible with Linux? I see my board on ttUSB0 but when I try to connect I get the following error:

Processing Error
An error occurred while processing information from the device.
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'productName').

If I try to connect again I see ttUSB0 - paired

In my Linux Mint the message is:

Selected port is busy or in use. Close other apps or tabs using it and try again.

in the log shows:
[ESPConnect-ui] Requesting serial port access... [ESPConnect-Debug] Serial input flushed before handshake. [ESPConnect-Debug] Opening serial port... [warn] Selected port is busy or in use. Close other apps or tabs using it and try again. [ESPConnect-Debug] Connect flow finished (busy=false).
