it’s a pretty good idea. I haven’t expanded this part yet because the current LLM features are still quite limited.

Right now it only supports commit messages and voice conversion.

Do you have any other use cases or ideas in mind?

I think I’ll add this in one of the upcoming versions.

Thanks for the request! We're planning to add OpenRouter, Groq, and custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint support in v1.17.

What's coming:

• OpenRouter as a first-class AI provider (text + voice models)
• Groq as a first-class AI provider (text + Whisper-compatible voice transcription — significantly faster than OpenAI)
• Custom endpoint support for local setups like Ollama, LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible API

All three use the same OpenAI-compatible API format, so the implementation is straightforward — different base URL and API key, same SDK under the hood.

We're also extending voice transcription (currently hardcoded to OpenAI Whisper) to support multiple providers. Since Groq, OpenRouter, and OpenAI all expose the same Whisper API contract (POST /v1/audio/transcriptions), users will be able to pick their preferred transcription provider.
