What
Once #5 is complete, we need to choose whether to model EVs or HPWHs behavioral responses to TOU rates, and then write down the equations for a first-pass model.
Why
We need to think through the model details before we move to implementation, and the whole team needs to get on the same page about them.
How
- Decide together whether to model EVs or HPWHs
- Assuming we choose HPWHs, Create a new branch that follows our branch naming convention of
user/task, i.e. sherry/tou_hwph_schedule_basic
- In this
docs/ directory, add markdown file called tou_hpwh_schedule_basic.qmd, depending on which device we choose to model.
- Using words and LaTeX, write down and walkthrough the equations for the simplest possible version of the model.
- When you merge to main, the page will automatically be rendered and saved to our online docs,
