Settings screens black?

Hi,
downloaded and tried 3.01. Everything seems to run smoothly, except for some mouse lag in 5K mode on the receiving iMac.

I noticed however that the settings screens are dark or greyed out. Printscreens added below. Screen on the receiver is also dark but with light fonts. So no problem there.

Not sure if this is something on my end.

Thanks for checking again with 3.1.0, and for the screenshots.

So this does not look like it was fixed by the latest release, and it may be a rendering / appearance issue on our side rather than a setup problem on yours.

I’ll keep this open and take a closer look. If you have a moment, one thing that would help is whether this happens the same way in both Light Mode and Dark Mode, or only in one of them.

Also, thanks for mentioning the 5K mouse lag as well — noted.

I will investigate further to see if there are display settings that don't have this issue.

On the lagging: I compared it to Luna Display. I use this with the same thunderbolt connection. Luna does not have options for resolution. It just addresses 5K on the target Mac. This works fine, with a small noticeable lag. But it doesn't hamper mouse work. With TB I use the "Crisp" setting to have a lag comparable to Luna.
