Config Changes Don't Save

When I press Save, my config changes usually don't save. I have tried many to troubleshoot with page refreshes, disabling/enabling the config, etc. but it still does not work.

@ktoll123! Thanks for raising this issue. This problem is unfortunately known and I tried multiple solutions to fix it.

Since this issue currently is only impacting some users, and some not, my suspicion is that there is something in the configuration that makes things not work as expected, so any details you can send me would be helpful:

• A copy or a screenshot of the browser logs when you click "save" and the Saving does not work.
• A screenshot or an estimate on how many configurations you have/how big your whole setup is.

Hello, I will attempt the advice from #265. I have tried the exact same configuration as others and it works for them but not for me.

I tried looking at the console. When I clicked Save, either nothing happened (no logs) or I got a port closed error (attached). Usually nothing happened.

I couldn't follow the advice re: storage because clicking the 'Backup' option just triggered a zip download of my configs - I didn't have an option to replace storage

There are 2 ways to backup, for the one needed, click on "Settings", Go to "more" and there at the bottom of the page you will see

You can always open the backup page to download your files or manipulate your settings. Please use with caution!

what it does differently:

• it introduces a "trash" in the settings where you can clean out your deleted content
• it adds more debugging so when the save fails, there is hopefully some more context.

It's a separate extension, so you would need to copy your settings over and see how it works!
