Google Analytics doesn't seem to work for me

Hi there.

• I followed the instructions in README and updated my blog:
  
• Went to analytics.google.com and set everything up

Somehow what I'm getting are:

• Nothing happened on the GA dashboard (Everything still at 0, while I did visit my blog a few times)

• When I was trying to add my blog on Google Search Console, I got these errors:

  Verification method:
  Google Analytics

  Failure reason:
  We could not find any Google Analytics tracking codes on the index page of your site.

Wondering if anyone else's having the same issue.
