Nothing happens when I try to start the REPatcher.exe

I tried starting it with dragging and dropping the wow.exe on the RCEPatcher.exe.
I tried starting the RCEPatcher.exe by double clicking it.
I tried starting it with admin privileges.
Nothing ever happens. The patcher doesn't start. No windows shell opens. No patched wow.exe is created. And I also don't get any kind of notification from windows or the patcher. It just doesn't do anything at all.

I used the latest release of the patcher with the 3.3.5a client I downloaded from Chromiecraft. My operating system is windows 10.

You may not have .NET 5.0.0 installed. The software doesn't notify you if it can't find .NET unless you run it in powershell. Try installing .NET and see if it works. Here's a direct link to the installer for 64-bit windows and the page for all other supported OSes.
