Does it require to jailbreak my nintendo switch to install HATS?

Sorry for the title, i am new at this and i just got my first nintendo switch yesterday and like sthetix, i am more of a modder than a player.

does it requires me to jailbreak the switch or not?

for me yes because you can install paid games for free apply cheats but the only problem is you cant play online cause your device can get permanently banned if you want to avoid getting banned you can block dns related to nintedo or go airplane mode to avoid it still support the game developers and mod devss <3
