About Me
I'm David, a tech lead and architect based in Australia with a focus on developer tooling, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure. I build open-source projects that make developers more productive and push the boundaries of what autonomous AI systems can do. Every project I ship is designed to solve real problems I've encountered as a practitioner.
Projects
Genesis
A project bootstrapper for Claude Code. Genesis scaffolds fully-equipped projects with agents, skills, MCP server configs, and memory, so you're productive from the very first session. Think of it as an opinionated starter kit for AI-assisted development.
XeeNet
A distributed AI research platform where volunteers contribute compute for autonomous machine learning experimentation. SETI@home meets auto-research: distributed neural network training and experimentation across a volunteer compute network.
Azure-Scale
Measures Azure's total configuration surface area by enumerating every resource provider, resource type, configuration parameter, SKU variant, and API operation. Generates a self-contained HTML report that reveals the true scale of the platform.
Visio-Cisco
A modern, searchable Visio stencil set for Cisco product and network icons: 485 masters across 11 groups with working shape search, nine connection points per icon, network shape data (Hostname, ManagementIP, VLANs and more), dark-mode variants, and both Metric and US-unit builds. Free, including all the per-icon SVG and PNG assets. Generated by a deterministic OOXML pipeline, no Visio install required.
Visio-Azure
The sibling project for Microsoft Azure: 1,773 masters covering Azure services and on-prem workloads, with the same engineering, working search, connection points, shape data, and dual-unit builds. Built on the same pipeline that powers Visio-Cisco.
Why Sponsor?
Your sponsorship helps me dedicate more time to maintaining and improving these projects. The Visio stencil sets in particular need regenerating every time Cisco or Microsoft refresh their icon libraries, and your support keeps that work sustainable. Every contribution goes directly towards building better open-source tools for the developer community.
