Myself and my small indie studio in the woods, xvoidsx, are working on free and open-source software for GNU/Linux (including a new distribution, naviOS!), smallweb and federated social technologies including building on top of ActivityPub and Nostr, as well as actively building on top of and advocating for the Gemini Protocol.

Through our FOSSphones website, we write all about the latest in Linux mobile devices and software projects, as well as de-googled Android projects based on AOSP. Mobile computing is a huge part of modern life, and we want to do our part to make sure we let people know all about how they can reclaim their digital privacy through free and open-source software on their mobile devices.

Aside from software and web development, we also work hard to bring awareness about digital privacy and freedom with FOSS to people around the internet. On top of this, we create music, art, and fiction novels all under the Free Art License, applying the same philosophy to our creative works as we do to our software - that anyone should be able to build on top of it, remix it, and re-imagine it in their own ways.

Finally, underneath our Raven's Ridge project, we do experiments in homesteading and off-grid living in the woods of Arkansas, and we document all of it through essays on our website and through videos and photos. We are writing some software that goes with homestead automation, as well as documenting as much as we can of our homesteading journey and hoping others can learn from it, too!

Everything we do eventually makes its way into the main knowledge base, the Wiki, otherwise known as the Digital Garden, on my website, and I aim for it to be the main repository of everything we've ever built, learned, and continue to learn, as well as link out and act as a hub for everything we host elsewhere on the web!

Essentially, our mission is to build free and open-source software based around the Linux ecosystem, build and advocate for the open Web, advance our knowledge of living in harmony with the earth through homesteading experimentation, and create multimedia projects through audio, visual, and text that we are proud to share with the world.
